CARLSBAD, Calif. – PGA and LPGA Tour members won on their respective circuits Sunday using Nippon Shaft steel shafts in their irons.

The 30-year-old native of Colombia used N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 125 steel shafts in his irons to win the ZOZO Championship at Accordia Golf Narashina Country Club in Japan. He fashioned a one-stroke victory with rounds of 64-64-65-67—260, including a birdie-par-birdie finish for a 20-under par total. He also was second in Strokes Gained: Approach to the Green. For his second PGA Tour victory he earned $1.755 million and an invitation to the Masters.

On the LPGA Tour, the 22-year-old from China finished at 23-under par to win the Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpu Golf & Country Club in Malaysia. She used N.S.PRO 950GH steel shafts in her irons to compile rounds of 67-67-66-65—265, including a birdie putt on the final hole to avoid a playoff. Her third victory on the LPGA Tour this year and her fifth since joining the circuit was worth $450,000.
