Crew members at Lincoln Recycling of Meadville speak with Pennsylvania Electric Co. officials Wednesday afternoon after a Lincoln excavator took down an overhead electric line in the recycling yard. The boom arm of the excavator struck the electric line at 12:56 p.m. knocking out power briefly in portions of downtown Meadville. Those areas included the Downtown Mall, the Crawford County Courthouse, the Crawford County Judicial Center and the Meadville City Building. No injuries were reported.
